I am Oleksandra, a visual artist born in 2002 in Odesa, Ukraine, currently based in Dresden, Germany. 

In 2022, I emigrated due to the war, and my journey as an artist has been shaped by both my personal experiences with chronic illness and the themes of fear, mental disorders, death, war, and violence. I explore these complex topics through painting, collage, illustration, photography and mixed media, believing that confronting difficult realities is essential for creating meaningful change. By delving into the emotional and physical aspects of illness, resilience, and transformation, I aim to ask the right questions and encourage others to see the truth and believe in the possibility of a better world.

My work has been featured in exhibitions across Germany, Great Britain, Italy, the USA, Canada, Slovenia, and Ukraine, and I am passionate about using art as a tool for dialogue, healing, and self-expression
